How do I delete learned destinations of my BMW in the My BMW App?

Based on your linked BMW ID, BMW Maps learns your habits and anticipates which destination you are likely to drive to next. BMW vehicles with Operating System 8 or newer synchronize learned destinations and routes for your BMW ID with the BMW Cloud.

 

You can permanently prevent your BMW from learning your destinations in your BMW. Perform the following in your BMW:

  1. "All"
  2. "Data privacy"
  3. "BMW permissions"
  4. "Learning navigation" (BMW Maps)
  5. Then, toggle off the setting.

Please Note: Deleting all learned destinations cannot be undone. You will delete all learned destinations which will also affect the learned destinations in your BMW. No more destinations will be suggested based on learned destinations and you will no longer receive any notifications for these destinations. Deleted destinations will be learned again if you drive there in your BMW with learning navigation enabled. It may take around two weeks for the destination to be learned again.
