Which electric BMW models are eligible for Plug & Charge?

Plug & Charge is available on all 2025 and newer BMW EV models, including BMW i4, BMW i5, BMW i7, and BMW iX. For 2024 vehicles, Plug and Charge is supported from factory on the BMW i5, the BMW i7, and the BMW iX produced on or after July 1, 2023. Some models require a software upgrade at a BMW Center to gain eligibility, including the 2023 i7, the 2024 i4, and 2024 iX units built between March 1 and June 30, 2023.
