Your Carbon Divided Daily and Quarterly Rewards will be paid out twice a year in January and July. For the payout of your utility incentives, please open the ChargeForward website or ChargeForward inside the My BMW App. Select the "My Programs" on the Settings tab, and click “Read More”. Under “How it pays” and “How it works” sections you will see more information about the utility incentives and how/when they will be paid out.
For local utility programs:
- CAISO: You will receive your accrued incentives twice a year in Q1 and Q3 (dates subject to change).
- DTE: You can earn a monthly incentive for joining and remaining in the program. The program duration is from July 2025 through December 2026.
After DTE validates your eligibility for the program, ChargeForward participants will begin automatically receiving their incentive directly to their PayPal or Venmo accounts. If DTE cannot identify a PayPal or Venmo account linked to the email address enrolled in the program, we will reach out to you separately with instructions on arranging your incentive payment through PayPal or Venmo. If eligible, we’ll send you an incentive at the end of each month. Your reward is dependent on your enrollment and participation for the duration of the program.
If you have any problems or questions with receiving your monthly incentive, please contact SmartCharge@dteenergy.com. - Eversource: Depending on the program you chose while enrolling, you will receive a monthly incentive credited to your account.
- Con Edison: You can earn $0.10 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) for all charging done between midnight and 8 a.m. in the Con Edison service territory. You can earn an incentive per connected EV each summer month for avoiding charging weekdays 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., June 1 - September 30 (must charge once in the Con Edison service territory).
Earn an additional incentive at the end of the summer for avoiding summer super peak charging in all 4 months. Incentives are paid out each month for the previous month’s charging. Incentives are paid via PayPal or Venmo, depending on your selection.
If you have questions related to your incentive or to add/change your payment information, please reach out to support@evchargingrewards.com. - PSEG LI: For participating you can get an incentive at the end of the season. If eligible, you will receive an email from support@evchargingrewards.com with the payout selection. After selecting, the payout will be made 6 weeks after the end of the summer DR season.
- Xcel Energy:
- Colorado: For participating in the Charging Perks program, you will receive an additional annual reward at the end of the year for charging with a Level 2 charger. These incentives will be provided to you via bill credit.
- New Mexico: For participating in the Charging Perks program, you will receive an additional annual reward at the end of the year for charging with a Level 2 charger. These incentives will be provided to you via bill credit.
