How do I change the settings for Comfort Access in my BMW with BMW iDrive 7, BMW Operating System 8 or 8.5?

Contactless locking and unlocking can be switched on or off.

Depending on which BMW Operating System your vehicle has, perform the following steps:

BMW iDrive Operating System 7 

  1. "CAR"
  2. "Settings"
  3. "Doors/vehicle access"
  4. "Comfort access"

BMW Operating System 8 and BMW Operating System 8.5

  1.  Apps menu
  2. "Vehicle apps"
  3. "Doors and windows"
  4. "Comfort access"
  5. Select the desired setting.
