How do I deactivate the contactless unlocking of my BMW with Operating System 8.5 at home?

To prevent your BMW with Operating System 8.5 and Comfort Access from unlocking contactlessly at your home address when you approach the locked vehicle with the vehicle key, or locking when you move away from the unlocked vehicle with the vehicle key, select the following in BMW iDrive:

  • Apps menu
  • "Vehicle"
  • "Doors and windows"
  • "Comfort Access"
  • Select "Exclude "Home"".

Please note: You must first enter your home address in the navigation system of your BMW.

 

The "Exclude "Home"" function is available for BMW models with BMW Operating System 8.5, software version from 03/2025 and the option "Comfort Access".
