How do I activate the automatic unlocking of the doors of my BMW with BMW iDrive Operating System 7 at the end of the trip?

To automatically unlock the doors again after turning off the drive-ready state, select the following in BMW iDrive:

  1. "CAR"
  2. "Settings"
  3. "Doors/ vehicle access"
  4. "Unlock at end of trip"

After drive-ready state is switched off by pressing the Start/Stop button, the locked vehicle is automatically unlocked.
