How do I deactivate the automatic locking of the doors of my BMW with BMW iDrive Operating System 7 after driving off?

To deactivate the automatic locking of the doors of your BMW with BMW iDrive Operating System 7 after driving off, select the following in BMW iDrive:

  1. "CAR"
  2. "Settings"
  3. "Doors/ vehicle access"
  4. "Lock in a few minutes"

The vehicle locks automatically after a short period of time if no door is opened after unlocking.
