How do I manually set the exterior lighting of my BMW with BMW Operating System 9?

For models with the exterior lighting shortcut menu button to the left of the steering column or on the left signal stalk, the exterior lighting can be accessed directly.

 

To adjust the exterior lighting of your BMW with Operating System 9, select the following in the iDrive operating system:

 

  1. "All Apps" (the 4 squares at the bottom of the center screen)
  2. "Exterior Lighting"
  3. Select the desired setting.
