How do I dim the dashboard brightness in my BMW with BMW iDrive Operating System 7 for driving at night?

In your BMW with BMW iDrive Operating System 7, the interior lighting is dimmed for some lights when driving in the dark.

 

Perform the following to dim the dashboard brightness:

  1. "CAR"
  2. "Settings"
  3. "Interior lighting"
  4. "Dimmed for night driving"

 

Please note: The interior lighting settings are stored in the active driver profile.
