How do I activate the "Caring Car" function in my BMW with BMW iDrive Operating System 7?

You can activate one of the two programs of the "Caring Car" function in your BMW with BMW iDrive Operating System 7 by voice using the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, say, for example, "Hello BMW I'm tired" or "Hello BMW I'm stressed!".

 

Perfom the following in the BMW iDrive operating system to activate or deactivate one of the two "Caring car" options:

  1. "CAR"
  2. "Caring Car"
  3. Select the desired program.

The program can be stopped prematurely:

"End program"

 

You can also adjust a program via "Music settings" by performing the following: 

  1. "CAR"
  2. "Caring Car"
  3. Select the desired program.
  4. "Music settings"
  5. Select the desired setting.

 

Fatigue Alert in your BMW automatically recommends the start of the "Vitalize" Program if your attention drops or fatigue sets in.

 

Please Note: Caring Car is available for most BMW 5 series, 7 series, X5, and X7 models with Operating System 7, produced spring 2019.
