What advantages does the wireless charging tray in my BMW offer?

If your smartphone supports inductive charging, it will be automatically charged in the wireless charging tray of your BMW. The electromagnetic radiation of your smartphone in the interior is reduced. Depending on the model, production date and equipment of your BMW, the mobile signal of your smartphone in the wireless charging tray is amplified via the BMW roof antenna. If your smartphone is connected to your BMW via Bluetooth®, you can control telephone calls and selected smartphone apps via BMW iDrive.
