How do I disable a lost or stolen key fob?

A lost vehicle key can be disabled and replaced by an authorized BMW Center.  If the lost vehicle key has an assigned BMW ID or driver profile, the connection to this vehicle key must be deleted. A new vehicle key can then be assigned to the BMW ID or driver profile.
