What new features does the latest Remote Software Upgrade offer in my BMW?

With BMW Remote Software Upgrade, your BMW—depending on its production date and equipment—regularly receives new features, functional improvements, as well as quality and stability updates.

You can find vehicle-specific details in the Release Notes:

  • Available in the My BMW App—right after the update or in the designated menu
  • In the vehicle app "My Highlights," where the new features are clearly showcased
  • On the Remote Software Upgrade page. Please note: Release Notes may not be available immediately on this site when they are already available in the vehicle.
