Can I deactivate the installation of a Remote Software Upgrade in my BMW with BMW Operating System 9?

Yes. To deactivate installation of Remote Software Upgrades in your BMW with BMW Operating System 9, select the following in BMW iDrive:

1. Apps menu
2. "All"
3. System settings"
4. "Remote Software Upgrade"
5. "Settings"
6. toggle "OFF"

Please note: Deactivation cancels ongoing processes if the installation has not yet been started.
