Yes. To deactivate installation of Remote Software Upgrades in your BMW with Operating System 8 or Operating System 8.5, select the following in BMW iDrive:
- "MENU"
- "All apps"
- "System settings"
- "Remote Software Upgrade"
- "Deactivate Remote Software Upgrade"
Please note: Deactivation cancels ongoing processes if the installation has not yet been started.
