To check the download status of a BMW Remote Software Upgrade via the My BMW App, select the following in the My BMW App: "Check status" ("Vehicle" tab) > "Remote Software Upgrade" ("Software" section). You can see the progress in percent and the estimated time remaining. After a successful download, you will see the status "Download completed". During the next trip, the data is automatically transferred from your smartphone to your vehicle via Bluetooth® and Wi-Fi.
