What is the Personal eSIM?

Personal eSIM turns your BMW into a driving smartphone, providing you a data connection and the ability to make phone calls. The BMW Personal eSIM is a virtual, non-removable version of a traditional SIM card. Activating your Personal eSIM requires a one-time setup with your mobile provider, and setup can be accomplished via the My BMW App. If you do not yet have the My BMW App, download the app on the Apple App Store or on Google Play and log in with your BMW ID.
