How do I activate BMW Remote Services for my BMW?

You can activate Remote Services for your BMW in the My BMW App or in the My BMW portal on the Internet.

 

In the My BMW App, select "Activate" in the note below the vehicle status.

 

In the My BMW portal:

  • Log in to the My BMW portal with your BMW ID.
  • Click the "Profile" icon in the navigation bar.
  • Select your vehicle in the "Vehicle overview"
  • "Settings" 
  • "Remote Services". Use the slider to activate or deactivate Remote Services for your BMW. 

 

Please note: Deactivating Remote Services in your BMW is only possible in the My BMW portal. Activation or deactivation may take a few minutes. Your smartphone and the SIM card of your BMW require a mobile connection.
