Depending on the model and equipment of your BMW, a primary user and several secondary users can add the vehicle to their BMW IDs in the My BMW App. The BMW ID that first adds the vehicle in the My BMW App is the primary user. All other BMW IDs are secondary users of the vehicle with limited rights.
The primary user can view, manage or delete all saved secondary users in the My BMW App by performing the following steps:
- Open the My BMW App
- "Vehicle" (tab)
- "Vehicle configuration" ("Vehicle control center")
- "User management".
Please note: For vehicles with BMW Operating System 7, the primary user must authorize the addition of the vehicle for secondary users once in "User management".
