How can I change the My BMW App's permissions for accessing my smartphone?

You can customize the My BMW App's permissions for accessing your smartphone's current location, camera, Face ID, photos, camera and mobile data, for example. Follow the steps below to allow or restrict access to the My BMW App.

 

  • Open the My BMW App
  • Select: "Profile" (tab) 
  • Choose "Settings" (gear icon at the top right) 
  • Under "Permissions" select "Device permissions"
  • You will be redirected to the settings menu of your smartphone where you can make the desired settings.
