How do I activate the "Remote Engine Start" function in the My BMW App after a BMW ConnectedDrive Upgrade?

Once you have booked the "Remote Engine Start" vehicle function as a BMW ConnectedDrive Upgrade for your BMW with Operating System 7 or newer, you must activate the function once. In the My BMW App, select: "Vehicle" (tab) > "Remote Services". Alternatively, you can activate "Remote Engine Start" by locking three times with your vehicle key.

 

Please note: The engine start is used to air-condition the interior for a maximum of 15 minutes before starting the trip. It is not possible to drive without the vehicle key or BMW Digital Key in the vehicle interior.
