Does the My BMW App notify me when the alarm system is triggered in my BMW?

Yes, your BMW has an Anti-Theft Recorder as part of the "BMW Drive Recorder" vehicle app. As soon as the tilt alarm sensor or the interior motion detector are triggered, you will receive a notification via the My BMW App and can view the triggered recordings (exterior and interior cameras) marked with the location of your BMW and the alarm time. 

 

Please note: You must activate the Anti-Theft Recorder in your BMW once, allow data access via the My BMW App and agree to the Privacy Policy. In the My BMW App, you must be logged in with your BMW ID and allow push notifications.
