How do I share the "Plug & Charge" function in the My BMW App with the secondary users of my BMW electric vehicle?

With Plug & Charge, your BMW electric vehicle authenticates itself independently at public charging stations via your charging contract stored in the vehicle. The charging session starts automatically after inserting the charging cable. To share this function with all secondary users of your BMW electric vehicle, select the following in the My BMW App:

  •  "Vehicle" (tab) 
  • "Charging"
  • "Plug & Charge" (preferences)
  • "Activate Plug & Charge"
  • "Edit"
  • "Share with all"

The "Plug & Charge" function is available for vehicles with BMW Operating System 8.5 and BMW Operating System 9. The charging station and your charging contract must support the "Plug & Charge" function.
