Please update your Home Charging Location in the My BMW App or on the BMW ChargeForward Dashboard under the “My Location” tab. You might need to un-enroll and re-enroll in ChargeForward programs to ensure that you are still in the utility Zip Code.
Update via the My BMW App:
- Open the My BMW App.
- Scroll down and select the "Charging" section.
- Scroll down to "Services" and select "ChargeForward"
- Select the Settings tab at the bottom.
- Select "My Location"
- Here you can change the location.
Update via the BMW ChargeForward Dashboard:
- Log in at BMWChargeForward.com
- Select "My Location" tab
- Click "Change Location"
- A pop-up will appear notifying what programs allow/do not allow immediate Location change:
- Carbon Dividend allows to change the location with no changes to enrollment status.
- Duke Energy does not allow to change the address from BMW entry points. Participants will receive a pop-up notification indicating they should email Duke Energy customer support.
- For PG&E, DTE, Eversource, and Xcel Energy, participants might be unenrolled if the new address is not in the utility's territory if they click "Proceed".
- Enter the new address (if option is available).
- Choose the correct address from the proposed addresses.
- Move the Pin as close as possible to the actual charging location, the installation point of the charger, and confirm by clicking "Set Pin".
- Confirmation message will appear in green box: "You're all set! Home Charging Location successfully changed."
