1. Log into your BMW account at mygarage.bmwusa.com.
2. On the top of the My Vehicles page in My BMW Garage, click “Add Vehicle”
3. Enter your VIN, click “Next” and click “Add Vehicle"
4. Follow the instructions step by step:
a. You will need access to your vehicle to read out a security code in a
"BMW message" and confirm it in the My BMW App within 3 hours.
b. Depending on the production date of your BMW, you will find the
message in the "ConnectedDrive" > "Messages" menu or in the
"Apps" > "BMW Messages" menu.
c. Retrieve the security code from your vehicle, then enter that code on
the My BMW Garage page to complete adding the vehicle to your
account
d. Once the security code is entered, the vehicle should appear in your
“My Garage” momentarily
5. Select “Login” at bmwchargeforward.com .message in the "ConnectedDrive" > "Messages" menu or in the
"Apps" > "BMW Messages" menu.
c. Retrieve the security code from your vehicle, then enter that code on
the My BMW Garage page to complete adding the vehicle to your
account
d. Once the security code is entered, the vehicle should appear in your
“My Garage” momentarily
6. Ensure your vehicle is listed in the My Vehicles tab:
7. Next to your current vehicle select “Remove”
