How do I adjust Climate Controls in my BMW with BMW Operating System 8.5?

Your BMW with Operating System 8.5 is designed to keep you and your passengers comfortable in any weather.

 

The Climate Control system is operated through the central display screen. Simply tap the fan icon on the bottom menu bar to access the full range of settings. For manual adjustments, you can choose from presets like front vents, footwell, or windshield. 

 

For quick windshield de-fogging or cabin ventilation, use the Max Defrost or air circulation buttons. These features optimize airflow and temperature to clear fog and refresh the cabin quickly.

 

For effortless comfort, rely on Auto climate control. To set your desired cabin temperature, use the plus and minus on the iDrive screen. Your BMW features dual zone climate control, so you and your passenger can set individual preferences for ultimate comfort.

 

Heated seats and the steering wheel are key to staying warm during colder months. You can choose between three levels, ensuring the perfect amount of warmth every time. Enhance your comfort by setting seat and steering wheel heating to Auto activate based on outside temperature. Choose from a low setting for a cooler activation threshold all the way to very high if you prefer these functions to activate with warmer exterior temperatures.

 

Precondition your cabin before heading out by using the My BMW App, ensuring your BMW is ready when you are.
