What happens when my complimentary charging plan with Electrify America expires?

You will automatically be enrolled in the Pass for My BMW plan. This is a pay as you go plan, and you will pay the same rates as if using a credit card or the Electrify America app. You can also elect to upgrade to the Pass+ for My BMW plan for a monthly fee in exchange for discounted energy rates. Both of these plans support Plug & Charge for those who have previously had a Complimentary Charging plan. 

 

To view and edit your Electrify America plans in the My BMW App:

  1. Open the My BMW App
  2. Scroll down to “Charging”
  3. Select “More”
  4. Select “Electrify America” then “Manage My Plans”
  5. Select “Plans & Premium Offers”
  6. Select “Browse Premium Offers”
  7. Choose between “Pass for My BMW” or “Pass+ for My BMW” and follow the instructions to confirm your selection.
