What is the Video App, and is it available for my BMW?

With the Video App, the driver and front passenger are able to view a wide variety of video streaming offerings (powered by Xperi TiVo) on the control display while the car is stationary. This means customers can enjoy a continuously growing selection of video content, such as news, live and on-demand streaming of films and series, for example. The video streaming platform's portfolio will be constantly expanded and rolled out gradually.

It is available for most BMW models with BMW Operating System 8.5 with the option Connected Package Professional for 1 year from the factory or with the Entertainment Package in the BMW ConnectedDrive Store. BMW models with BMW Operating System 9 require an active BMW Digital Premium subscription. To confirm availability for your vehicle, log into My Garage and navigate to the ConnectedDrive Store to see if the feature is activated or available for purchase.
