What is the Route Guidance in my BMW EV with BMW Operating System 8.5?

The Charging Route feature calculates the most efficient path to your destination. It considers real-world factors like traffic, topography, and weather conditions. The system avoids steep climbs when possible and adjusts for adverse weather to improve range. 

 

If a charging stop is needed, your BMW will:

  • Locate the most convenient charging points.
  • Pre-condition your battery en route for faster DC fast charging.
