Do I have to wait for BMW to contact me to have the remedy performed for Recall 24V-104 Integrated Brake (IB)?

Yes.  We are in the process of implementing this Safety Recall to ensure that the necessary parts, tools, and procedures are available.  

 

Note:  Recalls are VIN-specific, and you can find the latest info for your vehicle at bmwusa.com/recall or NHTSA.gov and entering 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number.  To ensure that BMW has up-to-date owner contact information, owners should register their vehicles at bmwusa.com/MyBMW. Registration is free and allows access to information about their specific vehicle.
