How do I purchase ConnectedDrive services via the in-car ConnectedDrive Store?

For vehicles with BMW Operating System 8, 8.5 or 9, when your BMW ID is mapped to your vehicle, accessing the full suite of available features for your car is made simple with the in-car ConnectedDrive Store. Available features can be downloaded directly from your vehicle and are available for use after a short download process.

 

To complete an in-car purchase, a valid payment method must be set up and enabled in My BMW Garage. Learn how to enable in-vehicle purchases from the ConnectedDrive Store.

 

BMW Operating System 9

  • Log in to BMW vehicle using BMW ID.
  • Select MENU
  • "ConnectedDrive Store" app
  • "ALL CATEGORIES"
  • Select the desired product (for example the "BMW ConnectedDrive Upgrades" tile)
  • This menu details available services and those to which you are currently subscribed. Select the service tile to begin the purchase or subscription process. 
  • Confirm purchase term and follow the prompts to complete the purchase.

  • Log in to BMW vehicle using BMW ID.
  • Select MENU
  • "ConnectedDrive Store" app
  • This menu details available services and those to which you are currently subscribed. Select the service tile to begin the purchase or subscription process. 
  • Confirm purchase term and follow the prompts to complete the purchase.  It may be necessary to complete the purchase using the My BMW App, in which case, follow the prompts once you scan the QR code.
