How do I use the Auto Start Stop function in my BMW?

Lowering the fuel your BMW uses is made easy with the Auto Stop Start function. This system automatically shuts down and restarts the engine to minimize the amount of time the engine spends idling, at the same time reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

The engine only stops when it's feasible, and certain criteria is met. Disable this function in your BMW by pressing the switch close to the start/stop button.
