Remote software upgrades provide new functions, enhancements, and quality improvements for your BMW. Once an update finishes, you will receive an update in the My BMW App.
To confirm an installation, you will be prompt when the vehicle is stopped, and asked to follow on-screen prompts. You can also schedule when the installation will occur before confirming anything, as well as reading information about the new update to your BMW.
Please note that while an update is installing, you are unable to use your BMW.
