How do I view notifications or messages in my BMW?

Perform the following in the iDrive menu to view notifications or messages in your vehicle.

 

BMW iDrive Operating System 7:

  1. Tip the Controller up.
  2. Select "Notifications"
  3. Select desired notification.

 

BMW Operating System 8 or BMW Operating System 8.5: 

  1. Swipe from top to bottom on the control display.
  2. Select "Notifi­cations"
  3. Select the desired message.

 

BMW Operating System 9:  

  1. Select Apps menu 
  2. "All" 
  3. "Notifications".
  4. Available notifications are displayed.
  5. Select the desired notification.
