How do I update services to refresh my vehicle's ConnectedDrive?

Depending on which BMW Operating System your vehicle has, perform the following steps.
 

BMW iDrive Operating System 7: 

Under BMW Assist or ConnectedDrive: 
- Open “Options” (physical button surrounding your iDrive controller)  
- Click on “Update BMW Assist”  

 

BMW Operating System 8 and BMW Operating System 8.5:

Under Apps:  
- Click on “All Apps”  
- Choose the “System settings” app 
- Click on “Update apps and services”  

 

BMW Operating System 9: 
- Select "All Apps", then select "ConnectedDrive Store" 
- Select "Manage" on the left navigation bar 
- Choose the refresh button (i.e., two arrows in a circle)
