How do I set the warning for Forward Collision Mitigation with BMW Operating System 8 or newer?

Perform the following in the iDrive menu to set the warning for Forward Collision Mitigation:

  1. Apps menu
  2. "Vehicle"
  3. "Driving settings"
  4. "Driver Assistance"
  5. "Safety and warnings"
  6. "Forward Collision Mitigation".
  7. Select the desired setting.
