How do I set the current speed as the speed warning?

Perform the following in the iDrive menu to apply the current speed as the speed warning.

 

BMW iDrive Operating System 7: 

  1. Select "Car"
  2. "Settings"
  3. "General settings"
  4. "Speed warning"
  5. "Select current speed"

 

 

BMW Operating System 8 and newer:

  1. Select Apps menu
  2. "Vehicle" or "All"
  3. "Driving settings"
  4. "Driver Assistance"
  5. "Safety and warnings"
  6. "Speed warning"
  7. "Adopt current speed"
