How do I reset the collision warning systems to default settings in my BMW with BMW Operating System 8 or newer?

Perform the following in the iDrive menu to reset to the default settings:

  1. Apps menu 
  2. "Vehicle" 
  3. "Driving settings"    
  4. "Driver Assistance" 
  5. "Safety and warnings" 
  6. "Reset to recommended settings".
