How do I rearrange the widgets on the iDrive screen for my BMW with BMW Operating System 8?

The widgets can be adjusted in the main menu. The adjustments can only be performed when the vehicle is stationary.

 

Perform the following in the iDrive menu to rearrange widgets:

  1. If necessary, tap the home icon.
  2. Press and hold the widget.
  3. Make the desired adjustment:

               - Tap on the '+' icon and a new widget can be selected.

               - Tap on the 'X' icon and the widget is deleted.

               - Press and hold the widget and drag to the left or right to move the widget to the desired position.
