How do I deactivate/activate the Lane Departure Warning in my BMW with BMW Operating System 8 or newer?

Perform the following in the iDrive menu to manually deactivate/turn off the Lane Departure Warning:

  1. Apps menu
  2. "Vehicle"
  3. "Driving settings"
  4. "Driver Assistance"
  5. "Safety and warnings"
  6. "Lane Departure Warning"
  7. "Off"
