FAQ: How do I adjust the speed warning feature?

Perform the following in the iDrive menu to adjust the speed warning feature:

 

BMW Operating System 7:

  1. "CAR"
  2. "Settings"
  3. "General settings"
  4. "Speed warning"
  5. "Warning above:"
  6. Turn the Controller until the desired speed is displayed.
  7. Press the Controller.

 

BMW Operating System 8 / 8.5: 

  1. Apps menu
  2. "Vehicle"
  3. "Driving settings"
  4. "Driver Assistance"
  5. "Safety and warnings"
  6. "Speed warning"
  7. "Warning above:"
  8. Select the desired setting.

 

BMW Operating System 9: 

  1. Apps menu
  2. "All"
  3. "Driving settings"
  4. "Driver Assistance"
  5. "Safety and warnings"
  6. "Speed warning"
  7. Select the desired setting
