How do I activate or deactivate the rear occupant alert?

For vehicles equipped with BMW Operating System 8 or newer, perform the following in the iDrive menu to turn the rear occupant alert on or off.

  1. Apps menu
  2. "System settings" or "Vehicle"
  3. "Rear Occupant Alert"
  4. Select the desired setting
