How do I activate, deactivate, and adjust the Active Blind Spot Detection in my BMW with BMW Operating System 8 or newer?

Perform the following in the iDrive menu:

  1. Apps menu
  2. "Vehicle"
  3. "Driving settings"
  4. "Driver Assistance"
  5. "Safety and warnings"
  6. "Active Blind Spot Detection"
  7. Select the desired setting
