Follow the troubleshooting steps below if you are experiencing issues with your Digital Key.
- For Digital Key, ensure the Smartphone’s NFC antennas are positioned correctly at the door handle when trying to unlock.
- For Digital Key+, ensure passive entry is enabled via your digital wallet settings on the mobile device.
- For iPhone users, after a period of time, if you are out of range of the vehicle for extended periods, you will need to enter your phone's password password when attempting to use the Digital Key+.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on the mobile device and that the Digital Key is still located in your digital wallet.
- Reboot the mobile device.
- If the vehicle has entered deep sleep mode, attempt to press the trunk button on the exterior of the vehicle to wake it, then try Digital Key again.
- If necessary, reset the Digital Key and re-activate it once you are able to re-enter the vehicle with both physical keys present.
