I just purchased a BMW ConnectedDrive Upgrade. How will it be installed in my vehicle?

BMW will send the activation of your ConnectedDrive Upgrade directly to your vehicle. For many vehicles, the feature will activate automatically, with no input needed from you. However, for some models, you will need to initiate the installation of the new feature. This can be done in your vehicle’s “Goodbye” screen, seen when you park and start to shut down your vehicle. The “Activation of your function” option should appear on the screen within a few seconds. Simply select the option and follow the step-by-step instructions to install your ConnectedDrive Upgrade.
