How do I use the digital review mirror in my 2027 BMW 7 Series?

The BMW Accessories Digital Rearview Mirror for the 2027 BMW 7 Series allows you to see behind the vehicle using a camera installed in the rear window, even when the Theater Screen or rear shade is in use.

 

The mirror looks and functions like a traditional rearview mirror. To switch to the camera view, pull the lever toward you. This provides a clear view of traffic behind the vehicle while driving or parking without needing to fold up the Theater Screen.

 

You can adjust the mirror using the three buttons on its right-hand side. Press the left button, marked with the setup symbol, to open the main menu. From there, you can adjust the display brightness, sway, tilt, and rotation. Press the left button again to scroll through the menu, and use the middle button to confirm your selection.

 

For example, in the picture rotation menu, press the middle button to rotate the image counterclockwise or the right button to rotate it clockwise. A slider indicates the selected position. Press the left button to confirm the setting, then press the right button to exit the menu.

 

The buttons on the left side of the mirror can also be used for HomeLink car-to-home automations.
