What is Drive-off support, and how do I activate or deactivate it in my vehicle with BMW Operating System 9?

Drive-off support provides the best possible traction when driving off in certain situations, e.g., on difficult surfaces like snow or sand.
This function ensures maximum drive power at low speeds with adapted driving stability.

Perform the following to activate or deactivate drive-off support:
 
    1. Apps menu
    2. "Vehicle"
    3. "Driving settings"
    4. "Drivetrain and chassis"
    5. "Drive-off support".
    6. Select the desired setting

 

When drive-off support is activated, the indicator light illuminates on the instrument cluster.

Drive-off support remains active until it is deactivated or the driving mode is changed.
