Can I use the BMW Wallbox Professional without the My BMW App?

The BMW Wallbox Professional can be used without the My BMW App for basic charging, but the available functionality will be limited. To make full use of the BMW Wallbox Professional and BMW Home Backup System Professional, including Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) backup power settings and connected features, the Wallbox should be connected to the My BMW App through a stable Internet connection.
