How does bidirectional charging (Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) / Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G)) with the BMW Wallbox Professional affect my electricity rate?

You do not need a special electricity rate to use Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) for home backup power with the BMW Home Backup System Professional. Backup power operation is focused on supplying the home during an outage, not optimizing charging around solar production or load-management functions.
