Are there any recommendations regarding the installation of the BMW Wallbox Professional?

The BMW Wallbox Professional should be installed by a certified electrician in accordance with applicable electrical codes, permitting, inspection, and utility requirements. A covered indoor or protected outdoor location, such as a garage or carport, is recommended when possible.  Direct sunlight could cause overheating and reduced power output of the Wallbox. Plan sufficient space around the Wallbox for cooling, cable handling, and access to the charging cable holder (approx. 20 in. all around). The mounting surface must be sturdy enough to support the Wallbox’s weight and prevent vibration.
